How To Create a Catalog Order Template in Innova

Creating a catalog order template will allow you to customize the catalog and event run order based on the Product Families of items so that you can spend less time organizing your items.


Note: You will need to have Categories and Product Families created in your account before creating a Catalog Order Template.

Catalog Order Templates


The first step to creating a Catalog Order Template is to navigate to Settings > Operations and select the Catalog Order option. See image 2.


When you open the Catalog Order page there will be a few areas to look at.


 

  1. Create a new Catalog Order Template (first step if you have no existing templates)
  2. The name of the existing Template or Templates.
  3. The drag and drop list of Product Families which can be ordered from top to bottom and the top product family will be listed first in your auctions that use this Catalog Order Template.

The template is saved as you drag and drop, no save button needed.


Note: Editing the template of an ongoing auction with allocated inventory will not affect the order of product families in the current event. Changes will only apply to future events that use the updated Catalog Order Template.


Once you have set the Product Families in the desired order and you have at least one template, you are ready to continue.
