Event Settings
How to Start a Simulcast Auction Event:
Go to “Event Settings” and locate the Start Event option.
What happens when you start a Simulcast Auction:
The page will change from showing just inventory and pre-bids to showing an interactive screen where bidders can bid on the page, send messages and see the order of the individual items and groups, if any, are in the run order.
What happens when you end a Simulcast Auction:
Online bidders will not be able to bid on items. The
Auction Settings
- Current Bid (Show current bid throughout the application)

- Auto Start Bidding (When sending an item to the block, bidding will start automatically)

- Sale Confirmation (When selling an item, a confirmation modal will appear to confirm the sale details)
ON: Clicking the “$” icon will cause a popup to show up and confirm bidder number and hammer.
OFF: Clicking the “$” icon will sell the item without a popup to enter the bidder number and hammer.
- Show Reserve (When on, this will show that items have a reserve. Changing this will override the settings from the backoffice)

Bid Increments: Create, edit or remove new amounts in your list of bid increments.

Audio only stream option will hid the video option
You will need to grant camera access and microphone access through the browser.
Operating Simulcast
Buyer View
- Auction Company Logo
- Online Buyer’s Name
- On the block item and details
- Bidding area with current bid, asking bid, bid button and place max bid
- The upcoming items to run in the auction in order
Simulcast Messenger
Message all attendees by clicking the “All Attendees” option.
Message one attendee individually by clicking on the attendee.
Automated Messages
- Bid removed
- A Group Choice has been created
- Lots removed from a Choice Group
- Lots sold that are in a Group Choice
Presenter Board
The presenter board will update to match the lot, or group of lots, that are on the block. If the lot has multiple images or videos, the presenter board will cycle through all of the media.
The operator can choose to show or hide the current bid and ask for a bid and can choose to operate the presenter board manually. When operating the presenter board manually they can mark items as sold or unsold, select which piece of media to show, select another lot to display and return to the automatic presenter board.
